Our law firm is always looking for talented and experienced lawyers working in many different areas of the law. Personal Injury law and Insurance claims represent a large part of our practice, as does Family and divorce law, property law, commercial and business law focused on helping small businesses in Nova Scotia. We are always happy hearing from talented individuals interested in joining our practice.

The qualities we are looking for in experienced lawyers new to our firm include strong analytical and negotiation skills, trial experience and passion for their work. At Kimball Law, we pride ourselves on our dynamic, confident, well-organized and friendly staff. We look for this consistency in every new candidate that we interview. An important thing for candidates is for them to know what types of law interest and disinterest them, what type of community they want to practice in and the type of firm they want to work with.

We believe our support staff, including paralegals, assistants, receptionists and accountants are vital to our organization’s success. Diligence, strong work ethic and aligned values are always appreciated at Kimball Law.

We have Paralegals and support staff working with our lawyers in every area that we practice. The ideal candidates have past experience in working as a paralegal or legal support staff, good ability to multi-task, friendly attitude towards clients and great time management skills.

 

Articling & Clerking

We take a very intimate approach to all soon-to-be lawyers that come to work with us. As a clerk at Kimball Law, you will learn how to assist in client intake, case and presidence research, assisting in interviewing witnesses, maintaining case files and matters as well as assisting during trials and discoveries.
